About Event

Federal funding for health breakthroughs isn't only for established labs.

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) advances bold, innovative research to solve the most challenging problems in health. ARPA-H invests in breakthrough technologies, platforms, capabilities, and solutions with the potential to transform medicine and health in ways that cannot readily be accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity.

Join us to learn more about ARPA-H’s Emerging Health Innovators (EHI) initiative, a funding opportunity designed to identify and support the next generation of health innovators pursuing ambitious, high-impact ideas.

EHI provides early-career researchers with an opportunity to pursue bold research aligned with ARPA-H’s mission while gaining exposure to the ARPA model of innovation. Through the initiative, participants can work on high-impact health challenges, engage with experienced ARPA-H Program Managers (PMs), and build connections across the broader health innovation ecosystem.

This webinar is appropriate for early-career researchers and innovators across biomedical research, health, engineering, data science, and related disciplines who are interested in ARPA-H funding and applying their expertise to transformative health challenges.

Topics to be covered include:

  • An introduction to ARPA-H and its approach to high-risk, high-impact health innovation

  • The Emerging Health Innovators (EHI) initiative and who it is designed to support

  • Key dates, resources, and opportunities to engage with ARPA-H

  • Guidance for prospective applicants interested in pursuing an ARPA-H funding opportunity

Join Nucleate and ARPA-H for a live, one-hour session on what ARPA-H actually funds, how the EHI Initiative works, and what it takes to put together a competitive submission.

Free and open to all. Register to receive the Zoom link.
