Advanced Hike - Heukuppe - Flinta&Friends

​❗️This is an advanced hike, please make sure you have all the appropriate and necessary equipment as well as capabilities to successfully reach the peak.

​💵 In order to lock you spot for the hike you have 48h to transfer money for your stay at the hut, this amount is non refundable as the huts do not provide refunds.

​​👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏻 Arrival & regrouping window: 08:00 - 8:30 am

​​📌 Meet-up point : Bahnhof Wien Meidling, seating area next the Trafik and Ströck

​​🏃🏽‍♀️ Departure at: 8:55 (sharp)

​​📏 Length: 13km

​⛰️ Elevation gain: approximately 1000m

​​⏳ Walking time: approximately 4 hours + 1h/1h30 for breaks and lunch on both days

​​📍Finish 31.05 : 17:00 - 18:30

​​🥪 Food options: we are sleeping on top of Rax in the Karl - ludwig - Haus, I suggest eating dinner in the hut to refuel for day 2, there also will be breakfast available, alternatively you can bring your own food and eat it on top.

​You should pack enough things to eat for lunch both days, we will have lunch breaks while hiking the mountain.

​​ 🍫 Advice : Pack extra snacks for small breaks in between to keep yourself fuelled and bring appropriate clothing for a hike. The temperatures might be chillier in the forest/mountain than in the city and parts of the trail might still be covered in ice or mud. Be aware of your needs and take care of yourself 💕
