​The UCSC ACM Student Chapter, in collaboration with IBM Quantum Computing, is proud to bring Qiskit Fall Fest 2026 to Sri Lanka an intensive, hybrid four-week journey designed to take students from the foundations of quantum computing to hands-on Qiskit programming and an exciting live coding sprint.

​The program features three progressive online evening sessions, designed to take participants from absolute beginner concepts to practical quantum programming.

​1. Quantum 101: October 24, 2026

​Start your quantum journey by exploring the fundamentals of quantum computing.

​Learn about concepts such as superposition and build your intuition using the visual, drag-and-drop IBM Quantum Composer.

​2. Qiskit 101: November 7, 2026

​Move from visual quantum circuits to your first lines of Qiskit Python code.

​Learn essential single-qubit gates including Pauli-X, Pauli-Y, Pauli-Z, and Hadamard, and run your first coded quantum circuits using a simulator.

​Follow-up Q&A: November 8, 2026

​3. Qiskit 201: November 14, 2026

​Take the next step into multi-qubit quantum computing.

​Explore CNOT gates, entanglement, and Bell States, while solving template-based quantum puzzles designed to prepare you for the final challenge.
