Push Publish: Turn your IGD idea into a LIVE thing - Netlify x GW
Host note: KP sadly became unwell this week, so we've postponed this for 2 weeks. Hope you can still make it! :)
International Generalists Day gave you the idea. This hour puts it on the internet.
Come if you build constantly and want a faster path from idea to live.
Come if you've never deployed anything and the word "deploy" makes you want to lie down.
Both are welcome and you'll be in good company either way.
We practise f*ck it Fridays around here: the thing goes out at 80%, you find out what it actually is once people can see it, you fix it after. This is that, with technical backup and a room full of people cheering.
You'll leave with
• Something published, or very close to it
• A clear sense of what Netlify actually does and when to reach for it
• Answers to the questions you've been too embarrassed to google
• New people who know what you're building and will ask how it's going
Bring the idea. Bring the half-finished one. Bring the one you abandoned in March.
Your Host:
Karthik Puvvada (KP) - Head of Community at Netlify, founder of Build In Public Fellowship, Product Hunt's Community Member of the Year, host of the Build In Public Podcast.

Shout out to Netlify for sponsoring International Generalist Day 2026!
Netlify is how generalists gets an idea live on the web. One of our members put it simply: "I already had a plan for what I wanted to create, but it came up with solutions and ideas I'd never have thought of."
This event is organised by Generalist World, the community where generalists belong. You'll find everything you need to grow in your career: support, opportunity, lots of learning and great new connections.
