The African Diaspora Starter Pack
Tech Safari is hosting The Diaspora Starter Pack, with Fleri and Awabah.
The African diaspora is the continent's secret weapon.
If they were a country, they would be the 10th biggest (at 150 million people).
In 2022, they sent $53 billion USD back to the continent.
For more than 6 countries, diaspora remittances made up more than 10% of GDP.
But other than money - how can Africa's diaspora can contribute to the continent?
We have an all star crew who will tell us just how we can do that
Sam Baddoo - Founder and CEO of Fleri, a platform that lets Africa's diaspora care for their loved ones from overseas.
Tunji Andrews - Founder and CEO of Awabah, a startup that lets African diaspora build wealth for their families in Nigeria.
Come and discuss about how the Diaspora can have an impact on the continent.
PS - if you can't make it you can sign up to get the recording in your inbox.
