​We will discuss AI 2040 Plan A — a piece written by the authors of AI 2027 about their positive vision for an AI future.

​In the text a renowned group of forecasters and AI experts describe a plausible timeline in which AI goes right, and what it will take to get us there. Whereas their previous text, AI 2027, focused on warning us about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, Plan A instead presents a specific vision of a future in which humanity handled AI correctly.
