Improbable
"Our world is dominated by the extreme, the unknown, and the very improbable."
— Nassim Nicholas Taleb, The Black Swan (2007)
In an increasingly unstable world, we are compelled to confront the unknown, question our certainties, and reinvent how we act and think. This is precisely what artists do. They don’t flee from uncertainty, they embrace it. Where others search for answers, artists expand the field of questions, open new possibilities, and challenge our ways of seeing.
To learn from these radical and creative practices, the Improbable Seminar — designed by Prof. Sylvain Bureau (ESCP) and visual artist Pierre Tectin — offers a unique experience that applies artistic methods to the professional world.
Join us to discover a dozen works created by 40 MBA students from Ivey Business School, exploring the great challenges of our time. Over two days, they took part in the Improbable Seminar, where they learned Art Thinking — a method for creating the improbable with certainty.
We look forward to welcoming you for an improbable experience.
