About Event

Berlin is one of the most international cities in Europe.
Yet its politics still feels like a closed room — with a door that only opens if you speak the language, know the system, and hold the right passport.
That's not good enough.
If you live here, work here, pay taxes here — you have a stake in what happens here. And there are more ways to get involved than most people realize.

In this online session, we're cutting through the confusion and talking straight: What can you actually do as a non-German speaker in Berlin politics? Where do you start? And who's already doing it?

What to expect:
→ Real talk from people who've navigated the system as internationals
→ Concrete entry points — from district politics to European elections
→ A community of people who give a damn about this city

Speaker:

Rainer Seider As President of the Asia Berlin Forum e.V. with 30 years of experience in international cooperation on behalf of the Berlin Government Rainer Seider is building bridges between people and startup ecosystems between Berlin - and the world. He is also a candidate for Volt Berlin.

Ivan Gabor is initiator and co-founder of WahlheYmat e.V., a grassroots organization to create a better democracy through participation of international residents in Berlin.

Maurice Frank Raised in England and the US, lived in Berlin for 25 years. Writer, publisher, consultant, investor. My English newsletter for Berlin is 20% Berlin. (https://20percent.berlin/)
