Modern Lyceum: Multi-Disciplinary Panel Discussion on AI Productivity and Workforce Transformation
The mission of Modern Lyceum is to bring philosophy back to the public square. For too long now, society has been starved of accessible philosophical discussions that pertain to the issues of the times. That ends now.
The format of Modern Lyceum is to bring together a multidisciplinary panel to address a single pressing topic. Philosophy originated many of the fields of knowledge we come to know today, therefore working out the truth necessarily involves synthesizing multiple domains of knowledge.
The inaugural event will discuss the effects of newfound productivity brought about by new technologies such as AI: how will it restructure the workforce, redistribute wealth, and how should its risks be governed?
The setting will be intimate, but the discussion will be recorded and uploaded to Youtube afterwards for wider reach.
