Japan Tech Meetup #4
Tokyo has a great tech scene, but if you came here from abroad, it can be surprisingly hard to find your way into it.
This is a simple evening for that. Foreign and Japanese engineers in one room, food, drinks, and conversation.
This is the fourth one. The last one filled up with 24 people who talked until we had to clear the room.
What to expect
7:00 PM Doors open, drinks
7:30 PM A quick round of introductions, so everyone has a name and a face
7:45 PM Food and talking
8:15 PM Ten minutes: Davy shows Kaisearch
8:25 PM Back to talking
9:30 PM Done
One short demo
Davy, who is part of the community and happens to be in Tokyo that week, is going to spend ten minutes showing Kaisearch, a prototype he built for himself to find companies to apply to in Japan. Nothing for sale, just a thing that works. Ten minutes, then back to eating and talking.

Come if
You write code in Tokyo and want to know more people who do. That's the whole bar.
You don't need to be job hunting, and you don't need perfect English or perfect Japanese. Both get spoken in the room.
