Build & Sip: Vibe Coding, Women, + Non-Binary Edition
AKA Wine & Vibe Coding
Build & Sip: Vibe Coding for Women + Non-Binary Builders
Wednesday 3 June | Stone & Chalk Melbourne
Bring an idea. Build for 3 hours. Stay for the wine.
Three hours, real builders in the room, your rough idea turned into something that actually works by the end of it.
This one's for women and non-binary folks who've been meaning to get hands-on with AI but haven't had the entry point, the time, or frankly, the wine.
No tech background needed. Just bring a laptop, an idea (rough is fine), and a willingness to build before you feel ready.
Your build could be a landing page. A workflow. A lead magnet. A calculator. An assistant. Something the dev team would put in a backlog until 2029.
You'll walk out with:
A working prototype
Mentoring from builders who do this for a living
Vibe-coding resources you can use again tomorrow
Help planning, prompting, testing, and refining
A chance to demo what you built
Wine, because courage
Come with an idea. We'll help you plan it, build it, and demo it.
Your Host: Robelen B. Ryan, CodexLab
Robelen is a marketing leader with nearly 20 years across startup to enterprise - technology, marketplaces, retail, e-commerce, and services. She's co-founder of CodexLab, an AI-fluency and enablement company helping small and medium businesses make AI actually work for them. She'll be running the room and walking you through the build.
🛠 Venue Sponsor: Stone & Chalk Melbourne
We're hosted by Stone & Chalk, one of Australia's largest innovation hubs and home to hundreds of startups, scaleups, and the people building them. Their Melbourne space sits in the heart of the city's startup community, and we're stoked to be running this one in their room.
⚡ Build Partner: Lovable
Lovable is backing the night with credits so you can build without worrying about hitting a paywall mid-prototype. If you haven't used it yet, you're about to.
Proudly Supported by LaunchVic
LaunchVic is Victoria's startup agency, established by the Victorian Government in 2016 to fuel the growth of the state's startup ecosystem. They back programs that build founder, investor, and talent capability, and advocate for startups across Victoria.
Grateful to have them backing this one.
Want to back this one too?
We're looking for a partner to help cover the wine, snacks, and the bits that make a night like this feel like a night. If supporting an event for women and non-binary builders getting hands-on with AI sounds like your kind of thing, get in touch - we'd love to hear what you'd like to take from the night and co-create with you!
