The Transatlantic AI Symposium brings together leading voices from the German government, the US industry, and academia to explore how the United States and Germany can shape the future of responsible AI.
Together, Germany and US are emphasizing the need to innovate the public sector based on AI while setting a governance framework based on fairness, ethics and competitiveness.
You will be able to meet and connect to high-level policy makers from the German Federal Level that are on the intersection of integrating AI into the digitization of the public sector. While Germany is curious to learn about US solutions and approaches, there will be US experts and decision-makers sharing best-practices.

As part of a new initiative by the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS), the event focuses on responsible innovation, state modernization, competitiveness, and forward-looking AI governance.
Hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC West) and academically led by Prof. Olaf Groth (UC Berkeley), the symposium creates a space for open dialogue and practical cooperation on shared transatlantic priorities.
