AI Salon was founded in San Francisco in 2024 and is now active in 70+ cities globally. Stockholm is one of its strongest chapters, built around genuine developer-to-developer exchange: real questions, real challenges, no pitch theatre.
From chips and edge computing to robotics, drones, and the full hardware stack; AI is rapidly reshaping what it means to build physical products. This evening brings together the city's most engaged AI community to explore how AI is being applied at the hardware layer: what's working, where the real implementation challenges are, and who is building the most interesting things right now.

Caroline Walerud from Airforestry
Caroline is an entrepreneur and investor building deep tech for the living planet. She's CEO and Founder at AirForestry.
The forest industry describes AirForestry as "the next groundbreaking technological leap in forestry". We'll unlock billions in forest value and store gigatons more CO2 in the forest by harvesting trees with drones.
Caroline is also Board member and Cofounder at Volumental – shaping a world free from sizes through 3D scanning and AI. She is a Partner at Walerud Ventures, mentor at Prince Daniel's Fellowship, Sting incubator and Creative Destruction Lab. Forbes 30u30 and EYL40. She studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University.

What is a demo? A demo at AI Salon is low pressure. There is nothing at stake — it's not shark tank or demo day. It is your chance to introduce yourself to the community, share an AI-related business or project you are working on and get feedback. You do not need a pitch deck. A demo can be anything from a discussion topic, to a slide deck with a business idea, a product or prototype demonstration. Bring your own laptop.
What can you bring? You can bring a physical product, as long as it fits in a regular elevator, and/or a laptop, screen, banner, handouts, gadgets etc. In case you need anything specific, let us know in advance.
About the venue MagasinX is a 15,000 sqm Physical AI and Hardware Lab in the former Ford factory in Frihamnen, founded by Jean-Baptiste Gerard and Dan McCormick. It's home to companies building robotic systems, drones, and hardware that brings AI into the physical world — making it the natural home for this event.
