Capricorn focuses on Physical AI × Sports, bringing innovation into real-world scenarios through interactive physical prototypes and business-ready project proposals.
This competition is designed for builders who want to turn technical ideas into real, testable, and commercially meaningful products.
Registration is free for all participants. Teams are required to submit their project proposal by 23:59pm, 6 September 2026.
Key Highlights
✅ Theme: AI Devices × Sports Scenarios
We welcome innovative ideas across robotics, wearable devices, sports sensing hardware, interactive AI products, and other Physical AI applications.
✅ AUD 10,000 Total Prize Pool
Finalist teams will receive an AUD 500 project kick-off grant to support development expenses such as hardware materials, cloud services, APIs, and prototyping tools.
✅ Industry Resource Connections
Outstanding projects may have the opportunity to access industry networks and further support, helping teams explore real-world implementation and commercialisation pathways.
✅ Technical Support + Free Co-Creation
Space at Monash UniversityParticipating teams will receive support from a technical group throughout the competition, with free access to offline co-creation space at Monash University.
