Capricorn Physical AI × Sports Competition Opening
Capricorn focuses on Physical AI × Sports, bringing innovation into real-world scenarios through interactive physical prototypes and business-ready project proposals.
This competition is designed for builders who want to turn technical ideas into real, testable, and commercially meaningful products.
Registration is free for all participants. Teams are required to form into a team 6 September 2026.
Key Highlights
✅ Theme: AI Devices × Sports Scenarios
We welcome innovative ideas across robotics, wearable devices, sports sensing hardware, interactive AI products, and other Physical AI applications.
✅ AUD 10,000 Total Prize Pool
Finalist teams will receive an AUD 500 project kick-off grant to support development expenses such as hardware materials, cloud services, APIs, and prototyping tools.
✅ Industry Resource Connections
Outstanding projects may have the opportunity to access industry networks and further support, helping teams explore real-world implementation and commercialisation pathways.
Team Formation
We encourage participants to form teams before the event, but team formation will also be available during the Opening Ceremony.
Teams of 1–5 members
Individual applications are welcome, but team participation is strongly encouraged
Each team must include at least one member with a Hardware & Industrial background

Who Should Join
This Productathon welcomes participants from all backgrounds, including Business, Software & AI, Hardware & Industrial, Design & UX, and Research. No prior Physical AI experience is required. We encourage cross-disciplinary teams with diverse skills and perspectives.
