DevMad Annual picnic

​The moment you’ve been waiting for is here. Once again we’re hosting our annual picnic, a chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones and enjoy each others company in the park.

​DevMad is a relaxed, friendly meetup for developers and software engineers in Madrid, at any stage of their career. We’ll be at Retiro for food, drinks, sunshine, and easygoing chats about tech, work, and life.

​Bring your curiosity, your tech stories, and your finest picnic food. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

​🗺️📍 Location

​We’ll be in Retiro, but we won’t know the exact location until the day of the event. We’ll aim to be there early, find a suitable space, and share the location with you before noon. We’ll do that by sending a blast in the event here in Luma, and we’ll also activate the chat during the day.

​DevMad Meetup Guidelines

​1. Be kind and respectful

​We’re here to enjoy good conversations and build a welcoming tech community. Healthy debates are great. Personal attacks, harassment, inappropriate comments or making others uncomfortable are not.

​2. Keep it relevant to the community

​This is a space for developers and software engineers to connect. Please don’t use the meetup to pitch services, recruit aggressively, promote side hustles, or look for free work on your app idea.

​3. Respect people’s privacy

​What’s shared at DevMad stays at DevMad. Don’t pressure anyone for personal details, work information, or contact info. If someone wants to connect, let it be mutual.

​4. No selling

​This isn’t a sales event. No product demos, cold pitching, or handing out flyers.

​5. English-first space

​We’re an English-speaking community so everyone can follow the conversation. Feel free to speak other languages one-on-one, but group conversations should stay in English.
