What is Just Transition? Why is it important in the path to Net Zero?
How does it represent a significant opportunity for individuals, investors, and society?
This event is designed for individuals currently operating within the Just Transition landscape and those who are interested in developing their understanding and increasing opportunities to participate. We will have four presentations, followed by a focused Q&A led by each of the presenters below:
Praha Prasad (Anthropocene Institute)
Prahalad will explore how social factors and the concept of a just transition are directly linked to credit performance, business outcomes, and long-term risk management in fixed income portfolios.
Katie will discuss how investors can integrate social and human rights considerations into climate adaptation and physical risk strategies, drawing on engagement work and research with global supply chains.
Perminder (Min) Dhillon (Carbon 13)
Perminder will share how Carbon13’s venture builder model integrates social factorsnto the creation and scaling of climate tech companies.
Ollie will be giving us an overview of all the work that's happening at BSC, focused on just transition.
