Drone Defense Summit
Drones have become a defining feature of modern warfare, and Europe has an urgent task ahead: to develop, test, deploy and scale the technologies needed to protect its forces, critical infrastructure and civilian populations, and to do it fast.
The event will run through our EDTH event platform — apply directly here: https://events.eurodefense.tech/drone-defense-summit
The Drone Defense Summit brings together the people working on these questions every day. It is a half-day forum for founders, military operators, investors, policymakers and industry leaders shaping the future of European air defense. The afternoon combines operational lessons, institutional perspectives and capital, with dedicated time for the conversations that follow.
What to expect
Perspectives on the future of counter-UAS in Europe from industry leaders
Frontline lessons from Ukrainian military practitioners on air defense and counter-UAS operations
Why good counter-UAS technologies fail in real operations, and what it takes to close the gap

Institutional perspectives on defense innovation programmes, including NATO DIANA
A pitch session and open mic for startups and innovators
Networking and matchmaking throughout the afternoon
Part of Berlin Defense Tech Week
The Summit is an official side event of Berlin Defense Tech Week. It builds on a first edition that brought together speakers from Ukrainian operational units, the German Ministry of Defence, the investor community and the European counter-UAS industry.
