About Event
Join Speculative Literary for our first Atlanta event! We’re bringing Essay Club back, and this time we’re reading a piece from Hammer&Hope, a magazine of Black politics and culture.
Together we’ll read “Is This What R&B Sounds Like When You Don't Respect Women?” by Mankaprr Conteh. You do NOT have to read in advance, just come with an open mind, willingness to be in conversation, and with your critical thinking muscles activated.
We will also have a matcha pop-up by Kenani Coffee! This event is hosted and made possible by A Small Place Bookshop’s Summer Pop Up in Edgewood.
Free and open to all, masks provided & encouraged.
