

SF Climate Week Bay Swim
Enjoy the natural beauty of San Francisco Bay from the water! Experience the relaxation and health benefits that come from swimming in our natural waterway at Aquatic Park.
You will need:
Swimsuit
Water bottle
Towel
Warm, dry clothes + jacket to change into after you get out of the water and dry off
Optional:
Swim goggles or snorkel mask/gear
Swim cap
Wetsuit - if the 59 F water temp seems too cold, you can purchase a shorty wetsuit online for less than $100, or rent a full-body swim wetsuit at Sports Basement for $40/day, $50/weekend, $75/week.
Meet on the white concrete bleachers next to the Maritime Museum. Look for the SF Climate Week sign. We will watch your belongings while you’re in the water.
Public bathrooms at the Maritime Museum open 10am - 4pm, at Hyde Street Pier and at Ghirardelli Square.
Free public parking at the north end of Van Ness Ave next to Aquatic Park, next to and above Aquatic Park at Fort Mason, enter at Franklin & Bay Streets - take the stairs down to Aquatic Park - and street parking.
