Phone Free Fridays - Opening Reception

​Museum of the Moving Image and Light, the company behind Light Phone, are excited to invite you to the opening reception of their new collaboration, Phone Free Fridays. Every Friday this fall, if you check your phone upon entering the Museum, you'll receive 50% off general admission. Please note: opening reception is free!

​Come to the kick-off event for some light bites, drinks, and phone-free socializing. There'll be special guests, workshops, demonstrations, screenings, and other activities across the Museum.

​At 5:00 p.m., MoMI LAB presents "Free Yourself from Big Tech," a practical workshop exploring open-source tools, local AI and ways to take more control of your digital life.

​At 6:00 p.m., join Gabo Arora of MoMI LAB and the Light team for the opening reception and a conversation about technology, attention and what a different relationship with our devices might look like.
