Open Source Newsletter & Marketing Automation (English 🇺🇲)
​Many businesses use newsletters & marketing automation tools. The first products that come to mind are those with a big marketing budget: HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, Klaviyo, GetResponse, ...
​What a lot of people don't know: there are powerful open source tools out there, and they have advantages:
​They are cost-efficient. There's no "add an important feature, and you multiply your costs"; you are paying for hosting, managing & development as you do for your WordPress website.
​You own your data. You have the database at hand, if you want to access it: you can - no dependency on vendor APIs or user interfaces.
​If you have a non-negotiable wish, you can always add it to the software, and you're not dependent on the vendor.
