A Clay Whistle Workshop

​Transform a simple piece of clay into a functional musical instrument in this two-hour hands-on workshop. Participants will learn the fundamentals of clay whistle construction, including shaping the chamber, creating the airflow channel, and tuning the whistle to produce sound.

​Once your whistle is singing, you'll decorate it with colorful engobes, painting patterns, characters, or imaginative designs to make it uniquely yours. Whether you create a bird, a creature, a vessel, or an abstract form, each whistle will become a small sculptural object that can be both seen and heard.

​We will provide all necessary tools, materials, and a selection of colorful engobes for decorating your piece. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and be ready to play with clay, color, and sound.
