​About the gathering

​Join us for an intimate In The Studio brunch session at Kate's Red Desert Studio and home.

​This is an intentionally small gathering for Austin-based makers and artisan founders. A chance to see Kate's space, hear her story, and reflect together on where and how we do our best work.

​What to expect

​This 2-hour weekend event includes a casual studio tour, small bites and drinks, and a lightly facilitated conversation about our relationships to place, process, and creativity.

​Kate will showcase her jewelry for sale if you're interested. This is not a sales event and there's no pressure to purchase.

​To capture the energy of the event and Kate's studio, there will be some light photography so we can share with the broader artist and creative founder scene in our city.

​About Kate's work

​Kate's pieces are all handmade, and limited edition or one of a kind. Part metalsmithing, part gemstone, she marries her love of nature, spirituality and geometry into simple totems with unique vibrations.

​Outside of jewelry, Kate's background is in the studio arts, yoga and art therapy. All of these different aspects of her work are woven into her various offerings.

​Austin has a rich and diverse artist, creative founder and studio network. The In The Studio series is designed to showcase the people behind the craft and the places where projects come to life.
