About Event
Join us for another outdoor edition of Silent Book Club! We'll share the exact location pin with attendees before the event and if we're rained off will take shelter in a nearby café. Wrap up warm - this is Edinburgh - the rest of the club is as normal:
Silent Book Club is a social group where readers meet in a cafe or social space to read together. There are already 2,200 similar groups (known as Chapters) in 60+ countries. Meet ups typically involve:
30 minutes: People arrive and share what they're reading
60 minutes: Quiet reading hour
30 minutes: Optional socialising
The group is BYOB (bring your own book). There is no prescribed reading - you can read anything you like!
