​Small Things: Weaving Threads

​“‘Wearability’ is not the end of life.”

​Learn how to transform old clothing and fabrics into new 'threads'! Join us for a workshop on weaving as a process of transformation, taking what exists and giving it new form. Participants will be guided on creating a woven (upcycled) textile piece, and have the option to take home their own cardboard loom.

​This workshop takes place on Aug 14, and Aug 21.

​Small Things: Tea, Teachings & Being Together is a series of creative workshops led by Indigenous and settler artists presented by Scadding Court Community Centre and Laboratory for Artistic Intelligence with the support of the Toronto Arts Council.

​Small Things explores the connections and relationships that emerge when people make something together, when communities gather in shared space, when we slow down enough to connect and journey together.
