​What to Expect

​No agenda. No panels. No networking theater.

​Linda Mar is a sheltered beach, clean, consistent, beginner-friendly. First-timers will work with a certified instructor in the south section of the beach. More experienced surfers head north where the waves have more shape. Everyone's in the water at the same time, same beach.

​After 1.5–2 hours in the water, we regroup on the beach for breakfast burritos and coffee. That's it.

​6:30 AM — Arrive, gear up, quick skill check

​7:00 AM — In the water

​8:30 AM — Out of the water

​9:00 AM — Burritos + coffee ☕

​10:00 AM — Wrap

​Surfboards on beach

​Board + wetsuit rental is included — just show up. Bring your own board if you already surf.

​Wetsuit is mandatory. Water is ~55°F in May. No exceptions.

​Bring: towel, change of clothes, reef-safe sunscreen, water bottle.

​Driving: Free parking lot right at the beach.
