About Event
CHALK is a comedy writing and development workshop designed for aspiring comedians, writers and anyone interested in exploring comedy.
Led by a comedian, each session takes participants through a series of writing exercises, giving them the opportunity to develop ideas, test material, perform and receive feedback from other comedians in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Whether you're completely new to comedy or already working on material, CHALK is a space to experiment, build confidence and develop your craft without the pressure of a traditional stand-up show.
Across the series, participants also have the opportunity to develop their work towards CHEESE, our end-of-year live comedy showcase.
Write. Test. Fail. Refine.
