Leading Meaningful Climate Conversations
Leading Meaningful Climate Conversations is an educational, participatory workshop intended to equip non-experts with the facts and language to describe the state of human-accelerated climate change, why we bear responsibility to address it as a global emergency, and how its scope implicates everyone and everything on Earth.
Attendees will walk away from this workshop having…
the knowledge and language to describe the current state of climate change as a scientifically established crisis, however, which can be improved through collective effort, and;
practiced the ability to explain the relevance of climate change to different kinds of people by exploring and anticipating personal entry points (i.e. which aspects of climate change are most relevant to their individual lives)
Our programming is designed for early youth (14-20), but all ages are welcome!
