Lost & Found

​In collaboration with Six Degrees, the festival’s flagship installation invites visitors to slow down and attune themselves to their surroundings; its ambient sounds, shifting light, and collective movement.

​Suspended translucent textiles respond to light and airflow, creating a continuously evolving environment that blurs the line between architecture, atmosphere, and perception. Rather than spectacle, the experience prioritizes stillness in the mind. It offers a moment of pause, an opportunity to listen, to notice, and to reconnect with one’s internal rhythm within a shared space.

​Contemporary Calgary is the official venue partner for Design Week Calgary.

​Accessibility Note: Contemporary Calgary is a wheelchair-accessible venue with designated accessible parking, accessible washrooms, and wheelchairs available on-site. The Grotto features ground-level entry, spacious layout, and access to an outdoor area. Lighting and sound will be somewhat moderated to avoid excessive overstimulation. Volunteers will be available to support guests with different sensory or cognitive needs.
