Movie Synopsis: The Plastic Detox (2026) is a Netflix documentary investigating how household plastics and chemicals, such as phthalates and BPA, cause endocrine disruption, infertility, and chronic illnesses. Following epidemiologist Shanna Swan, it shows six couples attempting to reduce exposure through lifestyle changes, resulting in improved fertility markers and reduced toxic levels in their bodies.
