Unreal Jam LA 2026
Build something real. Meet your people.
Featuring judges, mentors, speakers, and creators from Epic Games, AMD, leading film, game, and immersive studios, and some of the Unreal Engine community's most recognized creators.
Whether you're a developer, filmmaker, technical artist, designer, student, or storyteller, Unreal Jam LA is your chance to build something incredible alongside the Unreal Engine community. This is a two-day in-person hackathon for the Unreal Engine community.
Show up with a team, or come solo and we'll help you find one. Then spend two days designing, building, and presenting an original Unreal Engine project inspired by a surprise theme revealed only when the Jam begins.
What You'll Experience:
Theme revealed at 10:50 AM on day one, no hints beforehand
Open build time across both days with mentor support
Live showcase and playtest floor on day two
Team pitches to a panel of judges including Jonathan Winbush, Thomas Thudiyanplackal, and other talented artists and engineers
Prizes valued over $1,000 across top categories
Lunch and snacks provided both days.
All skill levels welcome. No team? No problem. We'll help you find one on day one. Five members per team, max.
