404: Pothole Not Found. The LOKI Urban Monitoring Hackathon

​Every day at LOKI we help municipalities monitor their streets: potholes, damaged road signs, inaccessible sidewalks, unauthorized occupation of public space. Our AI already detects them from vehicle-mounted cameras. But a city holds many more challenges.

​This sprint-hackathon brings real municipal problems to Wave's community. A selection of monitoring challenges, drawn from the everyday needs of Italian municipalities, will be pitched live on stage. Teams of developers, students, designers and founders will tackle them using real-world datasets (road imagery, GNSS tracks, AI detections) provided by LOKI, the Turin-based deep-tech company behind Asfalto Sicuro®.

​There will be a prize for the winning team, with the opportunity to develop the idea with LOKI

​Open to everyone: no coding skills required, no Wave pass needed. Bring your laptop and any tools you think might be useful. Closing aperitivo and awards ceremony at 18:45.

​The event will be held in English and Italian.
