NTUT Gyroscope Mini-Arm 101 | Engineering Workshop

​Build a motion-controlled mini-arm while learning the hardware foundations behind neurotechnology.

​Led by Ahmed Omran, NTUT's very own Hardware Director and Mechanical Engineering student specializing in Bioengineering and Mechatronics, this hands-on workshop will introduce three essential parts of embedded systems:

​⚙️ Microcontrollers
📡 Sensors and IMUs
🦾 Servos and other actuators

​You’ll connect an Arduino Uno, MPU6050 gyroscope sensor, and two micro-servos, then program the system so your hand movements control the mini-arm.

​No previous hardware, electronics, Arduino, or programming experience is required. Students from all programs and years are welcome.
