Belonging is Power (Workshop Series) | Pillar 1: Migration, Identity & Belonging
Belonging starts from within.
After the magic of our Open Day, we are officially kicking off our deep-dive Workshop Series. Project Tres brings years of experience from India and Kenya—where we learned that true independence isn’t just about income; it’s about reclaiming our narrative, our power, and our place in a new system.
In Berlin, we are applying this holistic model to the realities of migrant women. We know that rebuilding a life here involves more than just a job search—it’s an emotional, cultural, and systemic transition. Our series is built on Four Pillars, and this Saturday, we begin with the foundation: Migration, Identity & Belonging
Pillar 1: Migration, Identity & Belonging
In this 3-hour workshop, we create a brave space to unpack our migration stories and acknowledge the diverse realities we carry. Whether you arrived in Berlin last month or have been navigating this city for over a decade, your experience belongs here.
The plan for our time together:
Arrive & Ground: We will begin with gentle bodywork and meditation practices to land in the space and connect with our physical selves before we dive into the collective work.
Identity Shifts: Who are you now, in this new context?
Confronting Challenges: Navigating the realities of discrimination and systemic barriers.
Internal Strength: Building the psycho-social tools needed for self-determination in Germany.
This is the first step in a journey that will later cover Family & Community, Society & Systems, and Myself in Action.
About the Facilitator
This session will be led by Carla Maria de Souza, the founder of Project Tres. Carla is a social entrepreneur dedicated to fostering personal growth and financial autonomy for migrant and local women. Her work focuses on supporting those in vulnerable situations by providing the tools for sustainable independence and social empowerment. Born, raised, and educated in Brazil, Carla has been living in Berlin for the past 8 years and understands firsthand the complexities of the migration journey.

Our approach is intersectional—integrating migration experience, local financial culture, and psycho-social empowerment.
