As the CEO and Founder of Night Time Economy Solutions, Jo has transformed over cities worldwide, from England, to the US, Canada, Italy & Portugal to name a few. She has helped turn night-time hours into fertile ground for safety, innovation, economic vitality, culture, and human connection.
She has advised governments, authored the UK’s national night-time policy guidance, raised over £80M for arts & culture, and trained thousands in creating safer, more conscious cities.

About Jo:
CEO and Founder of Night Time Economy Solutions (NTES), who are the global leader in nighttime economy management.
Jo is a strategic advisor to the UK, Irish, and Portuguese governments and a UK High Streets Taskforce Expert and is one of the world’s foremost specialists in nighttime economy management, with over 16 years of experience in the field. She has led more than 40 NTE strategies (which have made cities and towns safer, more economically viable and diverse) in the UK (such as London, Manchester, Norfolk, Bristol, and Bath) and internationally (in countries including Canada, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, and the USA), including the first-ever national strategy for Ireland.
She has worked directly with the UK Home Office, authoring the UK national guidance for Approaches to Managing the Night-Time Economy, which remains a global benchmark for best practice in the sector.
Her background combines strategy, innovation, policy, data interpretation and stakeholder management. She is trained as an expert witness and mediator and has been called by the High Court to serve in two High Court cases. Her clients include not only major cities but also brands and festivals, such as Disney, Sony Music, McDonald's, Glastonbury, Boomtown Festival, and the IHG hotel Group.
She has led a team of fundraisers to raise over £80 million for music, festivals, arts, culture and theatre from grants, major donors, investors, sponsorship and crowdfunding.
She has also pioneered and led extensive night-time economy training programmes such as:
*Developed the first policing the night-time economy training programme, taken by over 4,000 officers in the UK.
*Pioneering mandatory training for taxi drivers and train staff, covering topics such as VAWG, Drink Spiking, Vulnerability and domestic violence.
*Developed VAWG, Bystander Intervention, Vulnerability Management and Anti Sexual Harassment training taken by over 10k night-time workers and used by locations such as Westminster, Avon and Somerset, Dublin and Cork.
Jo is also a sixth generation Celtic Seer from Ireland. After the fireside chat, she'll guide us for an end of year solstice ritual so that we can reflect on the past year and set intentions for 2026.
