The draft ISO Net Zero Standard: Headline takeaways and how to participate in the public consultation

​ISO 14060 is set to become the first independently verifiable international standard for net zero transition planning, aligned with the Paris Agreement. Building on the IWA 42 Net Zero Guidelines, the draft standard is now open for public consultation.

​Over the past several weeks we've been running private briefings with stakeholders in the standards sapce. This session opens that up as a final public walkthrough of the draft standard before the consultation closes. Whether you're setting net zero targets, advising on climate strategy, or just want to understand where the standards landscape is heading, this session will leave you with a clear, practical view of ISO 14060 and how to engage with the consultation before time runs out.

Please note: each National Standards Body (NSB) sets its own internal deadline for the consultation. The 17 August date applies to the UK (BSI); if you're based elsewhere, check with your own NSB for their closing date and how to submit comments.
