​Join this information session on Global Pitch Showdown – Japan Entry to learn how Japanese health startups can apply for the 2026 program and take their first step toward pitching live on a global stage in Osaka.

​Global Pitch Showdown is an international pitch competition for ambitious MedTech, HealthTech and BioTech startups. The program supports high-potential founders from Japan and around the world to connect with investors, corporates, partners and ecosystem leaders across Japan’s health innovation landscape.

​Japan Entry pathway

​For Japan-based startups, this pathway offers a supported local route into the Global Pitch Showdown.

​Selected startups will have the opportunity to:

• ​Join a pitch development program

• ​Sharpen their pitch and international market story

• ​Pitch in English at the Japan semi-final

• ​Compete for one of three Japan finalist places

• ​Pitch live at the MedTech Actuator Showcase in Osaka

• ​Compete for the chance to win ¥5 million, presented by OCCI

• ​Gain exposure to the Kansai biomedical innovation corridor
