About Event

There are so many fantastic books about the greatest city in the world— so let's read them! Every other month we will pick a romance set in New York City to discuss. (If romance isn't your jam check out our book club that reads general fiction on alternating months!)

This month Paging Through the City is partnering with Good Girl for a book club and cooking experience centering The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston.

What to Expect:

A fajita-making experience with tortilla-making demo paired with a book discussion (reading the book before is not mandatory, but be prepared for spoilers!)

What your Ticket Includes: Build your own fajita bar (with your homemade tortillas!) along with lively discussion with fellow romance readers.

Optional Add On- Sip on a citrus-forward drink inspired by the book's main character, Clementine as well!

Good Girl is warm, community-driven shop and kitchen in Brooklyn by chef, Gretchen Brinson. The shop offers both quality meals and thoughtfully curated pantry items from small producers and makers, connecting them directly to the neighbors who want to know them. Here, the tastemakers are the cooks, the family farmers, the fermenters, and the small-batch makers — the people who pour everything into what they grow and make.

**There will be video and photos taken at this event that may be used for social media. Please let us know before the event starts if you do not want footage of you posted on social media!

Purchasing a ticket is nonrefundable as it is used to budget food costs, reservations and more!
