About Event

Our phones have become the place we go when we don't know where else to go.

Waiting in line. Time in between meetings. The quiet before bed. Your hand finds your phone before your brain even registers the movement. You tell yourself you'll just check one thing… and suddenly twenty minutes have disappeared.

If you've been thinking about spending less time on your phone — or simply being more intentional with how you use it — you're not alone. Your phone is designed to be compelling. The engineers behind those apps are very good at their jobs.

But that doesn't mean you're stuck.

Join me and others to explore your relationship with your phone. This is a space to slow down and get curious — without shame, rigid rules, or pressure to "fix" anything. We're simply exploring, experimenting, and finding what works for you.

This isn't a digital detox. It's a reset in how you relate to your phone.

During Our 90 Minutes Together

  • Explore Your Screen Time with Curiosity: A guided look at your data — noticing patterns and asking better questions.

  • Understand the Pull: The emotional and situational reasons we reach for our phones, often without realizing it.

  • Reflect in Small Groups: Gentle conversations about what your habits look like now and what you're curious to change.

  • The Friction Lab: Simple, realistic adjustments — quieting notifications, removing apps, adding just enough friction to support the relationship you want.

  • Choose What Fits You: More mindful use, a temporary break, or fewer unconscious check-ins — you decide what works for your life right now.

Support Beyond the Session

You'll also receive:

  • Replay of the workshop

  • Reflection prompts to help you integrate

  • Two weeks of gentle follow-up — brief check-ins and reminders to help you stay intentional as real life happens

Think of it as a short, supported experiment — not a commitment to change everything forever.

This is an invitation to notice your habits, get curious about what's really going on, and choose what works for you.

No perfection required. Just honest exploration and a little breathing room.

A Few Things to Know

When you register, you'll join my Sunday Unplugged newsletter — weekly reflections on unplugging, rest and presence. (You can unsubscribe anytime.)

This is an intimate space for honest exploration. To protect everyone's privacy, no AI notetakers will be allowed in the Zoom room (Otter, Fireflies, etc.). Don't worry...you'll have the replay.
