About Event

To ensure sufficient supplies, this workshop will be capped at 30 participants. Please register here to reserve your spot and arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Walk-ins will be accepted if spots are available.

Learn how to craft the ultimate souvenir: a handmade travel sketchbook. In this workshop, participants will learn travel sketching techniques and best practices to create a personalized record of their next adventure.

This experience is for all skill levels. For those who prefer to travel light, watercolor supplies and ballpoint pens will be provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own favorite sketching materials.

Note: Petroleum-based products like oil paints are not allowed in the facility

The ARTS Place Pop-Up (TAP) transforms the empty storefront across from Lyon Village Shopping Center for seven Fall weekends. Created with generous assistance from Rooney Development, 40+ artists/members of the Arlington Artists Alliance will feature multiple gallery spaces and a gift shop. Stop by to browse, chat with artists, and participate in events!
