About Event

Host: Fun Palaces

An interactive and hands-on workshop exploring how grassroots action can spark nationwide change and learn practical ways you can build your own campaign for change.

Join Fun Palaces for an interactive and hands-on workshop exploring how grassroots action can spark nationwide change. Rooted in the belief that everyone is an artist and everyone a scientist, Fun Palaces champions cultural democracy by putting culture at the heart of communities and communities at the heart of culture.

Discover how we’ve grown from local community-led events to a thriving national and international movement, and learn practical ways you can build your own campaign for change.

We’ll share our approach, and how we support individuals, organisations and communities to take the lead on delivering their own events.

This session will offer insights into co-creation, citizen-led change, radical inclusion, and sustaining momentum – all without a top-down model.

We hope you’ll leave inspired with ideas, resources and connections to help you start (or grow) a movement where you are.
