UofT AI Ethics Conference: AI in the Wild
Join us for a two-day interdisciplinary conference exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping, and being shaped by, the world around us.
Day 1: We examine the ethical dilemmas raised by AI in real-world contexts.
Day 2: We bring together diverse perspectives on the broader societal impacts of AI.
AI in the Wild will feature leading speakers from industry and academia, engaging panels, hands-on workshops, and a conference contest with prizes. Details about the contest are found here: https://forms.gle/6HicsQHv65TMRHUE9
What’s included:
Complimentary breakfast and lunch for registered attendees
Prizes for winning ideas in the conference contest
Daily networking sessions with company representatives, researchers, non-profits, and student clubs
No prior experience with AI is required. This conference is intentionally designed to be accessible to attendees from all academic backgrounds, and we strongly encourage students outside of computer science and engineering to register.
Registration closes March 1, 2026.
Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
