Development Drinks: Global Climate Solutions
Join the GlobalPDX community for this special edition of Development Drinks during PNW Climate Week! We’ll kick off the evening with a video presentation from Green Empowerment, who will guide us through an inspiring example of local leaders in rural Puno, Peru organizing to build and sustain solar-powered clean water systems. From there, we’ll dive into a facilitated networking activity using the Peru video as a reference point. Together, we’ll explore the cross cutting themes of community-led climate solutions, ecosystem preservation, local capacity building, and the role of solar energy in ensuring optimal service delivery.
