Austin Prime: Adult Math Club

​Join Austin Prime, Austin's math club for adults of all mathematical backgrounds.

​Integrate with respect to the community over a night of food, problem solving, networking, and talks.

​Austin Prime is designed to make a space to celebrate math and find others interested in the same.

​A successful night for you could look like learning a new problem solving technique, discovering a new community service organization, or exploring a mathematically heavy job opportunity.

​Timeline:

• ​6-6:30pm - Doors Open - light mingling, snacking, etc

• ​6:30-6:50p - Opening remarks - introductions, agenda, & presentation on resources for math as an adult in Texas including MathAcademy, Texas A&M distance master's program, and more

• ​6:50-7:30p - Problem Solving - collaborative math puzzles will be given out and you can choose what you want to work on

• ​7:30-8p - Closing - we'll do a quick show and tell by group and can mingle after
