What We Got Right and What We Didn't
Most end-of-year conversations about AI sound like highlights reels. This one is different. This session asks the harder questions built from the full AI@Work series: What did your organization actually do this year around AI in HR? Where did governance hold, and where did it collapse under pressure?
Did your bias audit turn into action or a document that lives in a folder? Did you lead your employees through AI change, or manage around them? And what's coming next: agentic AI, AI in workforce planning, AI-generated performance narratives that you're not yet ready for?
This capstone brings back leaders from across the series for a genuine lessons-learned, surfaces what the field has gotten consistently wrong, and looks honestly at where AI in HR is heading in the next 18–24 months.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Reflect on their own organization's AI journey over the past year and identify at least two areas of genuine progress and two persistent gaps.
Synthesize lessons from all four sessions and connect them to their organization's current state using the tools built across the series.
Evaluate emerging AI developments: agentic AI, synthetic employees, AI in workforce planning and identify which carry the most risk and opportunity for HR.
Articulate a personal and organizational commitment to responsible AI in HR that is specific, measurable, and owned.
