Join Anne Warren of Next Season Knitwear, hosted by Hillary O'Dell at Home Ec, for a cozy afternoon of unravelling & upcycling sweaters for new knitting / textile projects.
The workshop will start with a tutorial for disassembling and unraveling sweaters. Then we'll cover some knitting basics like casting on and garter stitch, and how to make a simple and colorful scarf out of scrap yarn!
Reclaimed yarn & knitting needles available to borrow. Scrap yarn scarf kits (including reclaimed yarn bundle, needles, instructions) available to purchase.

Go to the front of the building not the side ( loading dock) There are two sets of doors on the front of the building. The doors on the left are unlocked. Once you come in there are a few steps and an elevator to the right. Take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Do not take the large staircase as you won't be able to access the floor. Once you get to 3rd floor buzz #15.
