Gong Bath Activation at the Yoshiyuki Kakedo Exhibition

​As part of the public programme accompanying Dot Series, the first posthumous solo exhibition of Japanese artist Yoshiyuki Kakedo, MAHAMAYAMA Curation Office invites visitors to come together to a unique synthesis of contemplating and sound immersion through a Gong Sound Bath Activation led by Natalie Reznik.

Centred around the resonant sound of the gong – often evoked as a primordial sound, the first sound of the universe – the session creates a space for deep listening, bodily awareness and presence. Immersed in vibration and sound, participants are invited to encounter Yoshiyuki Kakedo’s works through another sensory dimension, extending the contemplative experience of the exhibition beyond the visual.

​The event is presented in collaboration with MAHAMAYAMA, a female-led curation office.
