NEXT AI is NEXT Canada’s founder and venture development program for ambitious early-stage teams building AI-enabled companies with global potential. The program connects founders with leading AI experts, entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors to help accelerate their technology and commercialization.

About NEXT AI
NEXT AI is one of NEXT Canada’s three founder-development programs. Each year, it selects high-potential founders building ambitious AI-enabled ventures and supports them through mentorship, education, technical expertise, and access to a powerful entrepreneurial network.
The 2027 cohort is delivered through two program locations—Toronto and Montréal/Remote—each with its own participation format and requirements.
Applications for the 2027 NEXT AI cohort are open until December 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Applicants must be incorporated in Canada or actively completing the Canadian incorporation process.
