Music became numbers on a screen, and more of what gets uploaded now is made by AI. I fell out of love with my own songs...
Savage Sessions is how I'm fixing that.
In an age of AI we need that bit of humanity more than ever. Real songs, written by a person, in a room small enough that I can see who's listening.
A quarterly numbered concert series. #1 is the smallest room it will ever have.
I spent years couchsurfing and touring living rooms before I ever played an arena. This one is back at the living-room end, on purpose.
Completely unplugged: one guitar, one voice, no microphones, nothing between us.
Every Savage Session gives one local artist the attention they deserve. Josephine Pia Wild opens #1.
Thursday 24 September 2026 at Teeraum Sanvian, Winsstraße 58, Prenzlauer Berg. Doors 19:30, music 20:00, finished by 22:00.
It's a teahouse. Tea, no alcohol. We're going chill for this one.
Capacity is tiny and the price rises as seats sell. First five seats €10, then €15, then €20 if any are left. The €35+ ticket includes a signed, personally dedicated copy of my debut album 'The Long Way Round', handed to you on the night. Ten of those.
When the last seat goes there's a waiting list, and that's the only way in.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
JOSH SAVAGE
Catchy melancholy with a message of hope. Born in London, raised in Paris and now living in Berlin, he is an independent indie-folk artist.
He spent years couchsurfing between living-room shows around the world before eventually reaching arenas. Across 800+ shows on four continents, he has opened for Snow Patrol and Robbie Williams to 100,000 people, with songs played on BBC Radio 2 and used on The Bachelor.
Five days before this show he plays Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
JOSEPHINE PIA WILD
Josephine Pia Wild is a singer, composer and handpan player living between Berlin and Paris.
She writes chamber-pop on an instrument almost nobody writes pop on. Her record 'Multiple', made in Berlin and sung largely in French, came out in June 2024.
