☀️ iOS Dev Scout November 2026: An Un-fold-gettable Evening
Hello, hello!
Join us for a special iOS Dev Scout unfolding November 2026 as we explore the possibilities of iPhone Duo, discover what's new in iOS 27, and discuss how we can make our apps feel right at home on Apple's newest form factor.
There's a lot to unpack -- or should we say unfold — in this exciting event. We have a speaker Duo, a pair of incredible developers, who have brought their apps to iPhone Duo.
Join us for an un-fold-gettable evening, it all hinges on you!
** Registration on is required and subject to approval **
🗓 Date & Time: Thursday, 5 November 2026
🕒 Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
📍 Location: Apple Developer Center, Solaris, 1 Fusionopolis Walk, L5 South Tower, Singapore 138632
🎤 Two talks, one community meetup:
6:00 PM: 🍕 Food, drinks & mingling with fellow devs
7:00 PM: 🎤 10-min host intro & community updates
7:10 PM: Soon Tiac - Designer & Developer of Pico Cam app
7:40 PM: Swapnil Bapat - Developer of Basil: Budget & Spend Tracker app
Shipping iPhone Duo Support Without Rewriting Your UI Swapnil is a designer-developer who builds Basil, an expense tracker used by over 12,000 people in 120+ countries. In this talk, he will share how he got Basil ready for iPhone Duo without rebuilding the app from scratch, and how he taught AI about a device it had never seen. He’ll walk through when to build your own layout and when to just use Apple’s, how to keep the experience seamless when someone unfolds their Duo mid-task, what to do with all that extra screen space, and how to test on a Duo-sized screen without owning one.
💖 Special Thanks
A huge thank-you to Apple for their continued support of iOS Dev Scout — and to you, our amazing community, for bringing the passion and curiosity that makes every meetup bloom!
